Here is a simple, but delicious side meal. Cook your beans, add the honey to taste, and you are set! I know the touch of sweetness definitely helped my kids enjoy these more.
Honey Almond Green Beans
Green beans (fresh or frozen)
2 TB Honey (or more to taste)
Sliced Almonds
Cook green beans according to package directions. Drain, and stir in honey and sliced almonds. Taste, and add more honey if needed. Serve warm.
