Last night was Tanner's first Derby Car Race! He and Dad had so much fun designing and making the car. All week we reminded Tanner that even if it he didn't win, it was okay.
Mom: "The race is about fun."
Tanner: "No, Mom. It's about winning."
Yeah...
Needless to say, he won! We are all so happy and excited for him! There's another race tomorrow that he wants to enter as well; one that has more entries. We'll see how it goes!
Congrats Tanner! I'm so sorry that I missed the big event! I was planning on it but had a viewing and funeral to go to this week. I'm glad you all had fun! :)
