Some of my favorite Etsy Edibles!

I love Etsy. I love the idea that everything is handmade. I love the people, and getting to browse shops for hours. But you know what I really love? The food. Of course!  Since I used to sell food on Etsy, I came to know some amazing woman who have fantastic food. Their standards are super high, and it shows! So, feast your eyes on these goodies!

Chicken tamales by A Thyme 2 b Comforted. These tamales made me a believer. Moist and unbelievably flavorful. Mmmm...

Lollipops by Sweet Lollipop Shop. Santa Claus brings these to our house every year. They also show up on Valentine's day, Easter... any time I want them to...
You'll be amazed at the shapes and flavors she makes! They are sooo good!

Kitchen Stories is my favorite place to get unique spice blends. I live on her Garlic and Herb mix, as well as her Italian Spice Blend. She also carries some baking mixes. Her Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are to die for.

These are seriously the BEST Cake Bites I've ever had. The Fetching Hound is fast, friendly, and will satisfy every sweet tooth you have!

And if you are looking for a special treat for your furry pet, Lucky Dog Treat Company is the place to shop!

Enjoy!

It's hump day. How is your cooking going? So far this week I haven't cooked a real dinner once. Eeek! It's so easy not to, as my husband isn't home for dinner. So, to get my juices flowing, and hopefully yours, I thought I'd post some "S" recipes to help in this week's challenge!

Food Giveaway from A Thyme 2 Bee Comforted! ***Closed**

It's March. March is a tough month for me. Winter should be ending, but somehow it's still hanging in there. We get hints of Spring, and then it snows. It gets dark and rainy, and seems like the world will never be green again. But, never fear! A Thyme 2 Bee Comforted is here to save the day!

Angelica is the owner and chef behind A Thyme 2 Bee Comforted. She features amazing meals ranging from Mexican to good 'ol fashioned American. My favorite are her Tamales, which are truly the best I've ever tasted!! Seriously. I grew up in Arizona, and had Tamales all of the time. Angelica's are the best. Her salsa's and sauces are full of flavor, and her meats are amazingly spiced. As you can tell, I've shopped from her time and again! She's very accommodating. If you live in her area, she has a broader menu, and will even deliver! She delivered a full meal to my parents once and they were thrilled!

A Thyme 2 Bee Comforted is a fully licensed and insured food business. She cooks all of her meals in a certified kitchen, using the best standards. This is one food shop that you'll be glad to order from!

So, what's the giveaway???

Angelica is giving away a pack of her Green Chili Pork Taquitos and an order of her Spicy Asian Wontons! They ship fresh; all you have to do is cook them!

Lime Cilantro Chicken

A few days ago, I posted a great recipe for Cilantro Lime dressing. Today's recipe is for the great looking chicken in the photo! Paired with the dressing, this is a fabulous meal!

Lime and Cilantro Chicken
(Original Recipe found HERE, but changed to fit my families' tastes!)

Enough skinless, bonesless chicken breasts, cut into strips, to feed your family
Juice of 2 limes (can also use the zest for an extra kick)
2 TB Sugar
2 teas. dried Oregano
1/2 teas. Cayenne
1 teas. ground Cinnamon
2 teas. Cilantro
Vegetable Oil

Mix all the ingredients except for the chicken in a large bowl. Add chicken and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Add chicken and cook until done.

Here's the fun part! What to do with the chicken?
1. Salad! Add the chicken to a salad, and be sure to use Cilantro Lime Dressing over the entire thing!
2. Make burritos! We made ours with black beans, chicken, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese.
3. Add onions and peppers to the pan to make Fajita's!

What can you come up with? My husband took one bite of this chicken and said "WOW!" This is a keeper in our house for sure!
